Christian Hippies were responsible for the origin of The Jesus Movement in the 1970’s. They possessed characteristics from both types of these “non-conforming” groups. In addition to spreading the gospel, Hippie Christians promoted their adoration and concern for Peace & Love thru the teachings of The Bible and music.
